The Heart of the Cluster

In April of 1994, the Hubble Space Telescope
peered deep into the heart of M15 and returned
the most detailed pictures ever taken of the
cluster. By comparing the pictures with ones
to be taken in the future, researchers will be
able to measure the movements of the stars,
and later figure out what is happening in the
crowded core.
